The easiest way to get involved in the Society is to attend your local shire meetings! Please see the calendar on Facebook for all upcoming events, including Shire meetings, fighter practices, and Arts & Sciences classes. Here are the current regular meetings:
Monthly Meetings
Business meetings are the second Wednesday of the month at the Episcopal Church of the Annunciation 1673 Jamerson Rd, Marietta, GA 30066.
Fighter Practices
Fighter practices are open to all, fighters and non-fighters. All fighter practices are held at Swift-Cantrell Park, 3140 Old 41 Hwy NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. We meet near the skate park.
Currently practice is Saturday from noon until people decide to go home. Practices are coordinated from the facebook group, to abide by COVID restrictions.
In normal times, If you are a rapier fighter, the 2nd and 4th Tuesday of every month is for Cut & Thrust practice. Any month with a 5th Tuesday will hold a roundtable on Historical Martial Arts practice as an A&S class. IMPORTANT: Please note that fighter practices are subject to inclement weather. Each week an update is posted on our FaceBook page to advise of any cancellations.
Arts & Sciences Meetings
Arts & Sciences meetings are where we discuss history and make stuff! They are currently on hold.. These meetings are open to all who would like to attend. Please see our Facebook page for topics and any last-minute changes or cancellations.
